Product Overview
D2 (AISI) / SKD11 (JIS) / 1.2379 (DIN) is a high-carbon, high-chromium cold work tool steel, delivering outstanding wear resistance, high compressive strength, and good dimensional stability after heat treatment.
JF Metals supplies D2/SKD11 in the annealed condition (≤255 HB), with uniform carbide distribution and excellent grindability. Each heat is sampled, sealed, and tested for full traceability, with MTC / COA certificates provided.
Available in rounds, flats, and blocks, with saw cutting, milling, and grinding services to your finished dimensions.
