Product Overview
Ferrochrome (FeCr) is the most important alloying additive for stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, and alloy structural steel production. Globally, approximately 80% of ferrochrome output goes into stainless steel manufacturing. Chromium significantly improves corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and high-temperature strength.
JF Metals supplies two major series — Low Carbon (LC) and High Carbon (HC) — covering 8 commonly used grades with Cr content from 52% to 75%. Produced from premium chromite ore via electric-arc furnace smelting, our FeCr offers high chromium recovery and tightly controlled impurities (C, Si, P, S) per grade specification.
Pricing rules: Low-carbon FeCr is priced against a Cr 60% basis (premium for higher Cr, discount for lower Cr). High-carbon FeCr is priced against a Cr 50% basis (premium for higher Cr, discount for lower Cr). Packed in woven jumbo bags; custom packaging available on request.
