Product Overview
Ferrosilicon (FeSi) is the most widely used ferroalloy in steelmaking — serving simultaneously as a powerful deoxidizer, a silicon alloying agent, and the essential raw material for electrical (silicon) steel production.
JF Metals supplies multiple standard grades covering Si 40–75%, meeting GB/T, ASTM, and customer-specific requirements. Produced via submerged-arc furnace smelting from high-quality silica and coke, our FeSi offers consistent chemistry, low impurity levels, and excellent dissolution behavior in molten steel.
Pricing basis: Si 75%. Shipments with higher Si content are priced at a premium; lower Si at a discount — calculated against the base Si 75% quotation. Each lot is sampled, sealed, and tested, with full Mill Test Certificate (MTC) provided.
