Product Overview
Ferrotungsten (FeW) is the principal alloying additive for tungsten in steelmaking. With tungsten content typically ranging from 70% to 85%, FeW is the critical raw material for high-speed steel (HSS), hot-work tool steel, and wear-resistant alloys.
JF Metals supplies multiple standard grades meeting GB/T, ASTM, and customer-specific requirements. Produced via electric-arc or aluminothermic reduction, our FeW offers high tungsten recovery, strictly controlled impurities (C, P, S, Cu, As, Sn), and excellent dissolution behavior in molten steel.
Pricing basis: W 80%. Shipments with higher W content are priced at a premium; lower W at a discount — calculated against the base W 80% quotation. Each lot is sampled, sealed, and tested, with full Mill Test Certificate (MTC) provided.
