Product Overview
P20 (AISI) / 1.2311 & 1.2738 (DIN) / 3Cr2Mo (GB) is a chromium-molybdenum-nickel plastic mold steel, supplied in the pre-hardened condition (typically 28–35 HRC) and ready for direct machining — no further heat treatment required.
JF Metals supplies P20/718 with uniform hardness throughout the cross-section, excellent polishability for mirror-finish molds, and good weldability for mold repair. Each heat is sampled, sealed, and tested for full traceability, with MTC / COA certificates provided.
Available in rounds, flats, and blocks, with saw cutting, milling, and precision grinding services to your finished dimensions.
